....just amazing...almost 40 years later and it really sounds like the original Lexicon of Love was intended to be a double album, somebody maybe forgot to put Disc 2 in sleeve, someone else found it, and said "Yikes, Look what I found; quick, release this before anyone misses it..". Wow, talk about going back in time....Martin Fry's voice is indistinguishable today from 40 years back...I'm astounded. Vinyl sounds great, 180 gram...songs are so nostalgic ally wonderful...makes me ache for a copy of ABC's MANTRAP..the most underrated long form music video of the 80's....a Hitchcock cold war drama set to ABC Lexicon of love; this music could just slide right in there..hey,guys. Release MANTRAP on bluray N O W...in a world where 80% of the so called singers (artists? Really? Are you kidding me?) Can't sing without auto tune... and all the songs on the radio sound like one big long song with everyone sounding exactly alike blah blah blah...cookie cutter karaoke singers..None of that 3rd grade Girl-you-got that Yummy Yummy crap ...3 years after its release I find this...along comes a fresh burst of something we don't have in most music of today...talent and originality...the lyrics to " Brighter Than the Sun" are the antithesis to today's zeitgeist . ABC, thanks for this and I'm serious about MANTRAP on disc....NOW!!
