I had a version of this product I purchased 20 years ago and the padding was pretty "cushie". This is a very 'stiff' foam. If you sleep on an extra firm bed, you will find it works. If you are a plush pillow top person, this is going to give you discomfort.This was exactly what I needed for my kayak build! Paddle in the up right position and hunt laid down. Holds up great to water. 5 starSuper comfortable, nice that you can take off the camo shell to wash if necessary. Seems to be tough and well made, we will see how durable it is in the years to come but so far I'm impressed and will be looking at other momarsh gear for the upcoming season!....winters comingWorks like it should!
